Video Work In Action
A range of editing and videography styles I’ve tackled over the years. From TV concept teasers and chef-led promos to high-volume kitchen cuts, branded recaps, and corporate interviews. Every piece built to suit the brand, the format, and the audience.
Chef Rob Rainford · Sizzle Trailer
This trailer was cut to pitch a food series starring Chef Rob Rainford. It combines fast-paced cooking clips, on-camera interviews, and location footage to highlight the tone, talent, and energy behind the concept.
While the subject is food, the approach - clear storytelling, strong pacing, and personality-driven editing - translates well to educational or financial content. It’s a good example of turning complex or niche topics into something more watchable, modern, and audience-friendly.
Role: Concepting, Videographer, Video Editor
Journie Rewards x Honda Indy
This fast-turnaround promo was created for a branded activation at a major live event. Shot on-site and cut down from over 7 hours of footage, the final video captured key moments of audience engagement and brand interaction. Delivered in under 48 hours.
While high-energy and fast-paced, the edit still maintains clarity and focus, a skillset I bring to more structured content like expert-led or educational videos. It’s a good example of turning raw, chaotic footage into something clean, intentional, and on-brand.
Role: Videographer, Video Editor
Hi·Lo Creative · Stocked & Loaded
This promo was created to showcase a content format built entirely from stock footage, AI voiceover, and sound design. No shoot or crew required. Designed to demonstrate what’s possible without traditional production, it blends fast-paced visuals, ambient rhythm, and cinematic SFX to create a polished, high-impact piece.
It’s a strong example of how I can build engaging video content from limited assets, using editing, pacing, and sound to deliver professional results—perfect for platforms like YouTube where attention spans are short but expectations are high.
Role: Videographer (shared), Video Editor
MarketTap · Explainer Promo
This corporate-style explainer was created to walk viewers through how a SaaS platform supports eCommerce growth. The video combines screen recordings, office visuals, and clear on-camera narration to communicate the platform’s value and workflow.
It’s a solid example of educational content with a clean, professional finish. Structured to make technical concepts easy to follow, while keeping the pace and tone aligned with the brand’s audience.
Role: Producer/Director, Videographer, Video Editor
Ignite Capital · Brand Story Video
This video was produced for an Ontario non-profit supporting underrepresented entrepreneurs. It blends interviews, voiceover, and B-roll to tell real stories of growth, mentorship, and business development.
It’s a strong example of human-centered storytelling, bringing abstract concepts like opportunity, impact, or financial empowerment to life through clear structure, natural pacing, and authentic voice.
Role: Producer/Director, Interviewer, Videographer, Video Editor
Sobeys x Second Harvest
Created for a national campaign, this video highlights the partnership between a major grocer and a food rescue non-profit. Blending cooking-show visuals with real kitchen action, the piece was cut from over two hours of raw footage into a tight, story-driven 2-minute edit.
The final video focuses on clarity, pacing, and emotional resonance, showing how thoughtful partnerships and hands-on work can make a measurable impact. It’s a good example of distilling a larger mission into a polished, engaging format that still feels grounded and human.
Role: Videographer (shared), Video Editor
Chef John DeLucie · Pizza Oven Demo
Shot and edited in a cooking show format, this piece features a professional chef demonstrating a high-end pizza oven in action. The goal was to highlight real-time technique and the practical value of premium equipment, all while keeping the pacing tight and the visuals engaging.
It’s a good example of how I approach expert-led content: making technical demonstrations feel clear, dynamic, and easy to follow, even for viewers unfamiliar with the subject matter.
Roles: Concepting, Scriptwriter, Videographer (shared), Video Editor, Producer
